These are our concept plans for our opening. These include all our potential plans for our thriller, detailing mise en scene, editing, camera work, soundtrack, titles and events and characters.

     Our ideas take into account what we found from audience research and our analysation of thriller openings.  These are some of the things we found from the thriller openings that we liked: discontinous editing and superimposition shots (se7en) as it is slightly confusing for the audience and adds mystery, a variety a locations or scenarios ( shutter island) as it means that there can be a link that can be developed, and also moving titles( first demonstrated in psycho, but more developed in se7en) as it creates a fast pace that canbe hard to follow, implying that there will be lots of action in the rest of the thriller . However, we decided to break convention and have a female antagonist, as it will create a dramatic irony, as women are usually the victimised charecters in thrillers.
