Audience Research

     To find out what our audience like about thrillers we did research. for this we:

 

created an online survey 

     Our survey was created with 'free online surveys'. We set the same questions as were in our questionaire. We chose to do this because we could reach lots of people quickly, and so far we have had 30 responses. Here is the link to our survey, which is live online.

       We asked people who took our questionnaire to be filmed telling us what they think about thrillers. Here is our video on youtube:

We asked this question, so people taking the survey knew what it was about, and didn't give us false information.

This was to see what gender preferred thriller films

Here you can see the majority only watch 2 or less thrillers a moth, with only ^% watching more than 6 a month.

the majority have seen 10 or more, however, lots have seen between 1-6, and only 6% seeing 7-9.

Our audience preferred Se7en, with 50% of the votes. our next highest score was

Plot twists are the most liked element, but characters and other both scored 0%

Puzzles and murder are also liked, which are somethings we will try to bring into our opening.

Soundtrack is important to our audience, whereas dialogue characters and 'other' scored low.

Our audience expect lots of Mystery, death, and violence, and not so much weapons or other.
